Today, Charlie is 10 months and 10 days old. I have to say this is my favorite age so far! It's so fun to see him grow in understanding of the world around him. I'm daily amazed at how quick he is to pick up on things, too. He's such a big boy!

*Weighs around 18.5 lbs, and is about 28 inches tall. Only in the 8th percentile, which is surprising considering how much he eats!
*Understands (and points to) the words: Charlie, kitty, doggy, ball, milk, hungry, outside, Daddy, Mama, nose, lips, sit, stand, clap, open, no (although still not well enough!), piano, light, fan, baby, & mirror.
*Loves playing the piano and sits on the bench by himself to play, smiling the whole time.
*Claps his hands anytime he hears clapping or the word "clap" (even when we watch tv with an audience clapping)
*Loves peekaboo and plays himself with a book or the curtain.
*New foods: chicken, broccoli (least favorite so far so we have to hide it in other foods), pumpkin, & squash.
*Thoroughly enjoys throwing objects...especially his pacifier, right before we're about to put him in his crib.Wonderful.
*Walks around the house using furniture or simply the walls to support himself.
*Knows how to get down from a standing position by falling backwards into a sitting position.
*We're working on separation anxiety...as he mostly hates being left with anyone else but us.
*Smiles at the camera with no prompting.
*Points and says, "Da-da" when Daddy comes home from work.
*Still crawling on his tummy. He's been doing this for 5 months now! Guess he figures he'll stick to what works.
*Still only has 5 teeth but a couple have been trying to come through for a while now!
*He definitely plays like a BOY. Grunting, throwing, crashing, bumbling around :)
He brings us so much joy and we love him so much!
