Norah: 2 Months

Norah is 9 weeks old now, and the days are just whizzing by. We can't believe how much she's grown in such a short amount of time! Here's a portrait of Norah at 2 months old.

Stats: 11.5 lbs.  22 in.

New things: Sleeping for 6-9 hour stretches consistently at night! Smiling at Daddy more :) Holding her head up really high for quite a long time. Smiling much more often and much more responsively! Wanting to be held pretty much ALL the waking time. Screaming the whole car ride, anywhere we go. Strikingly resembling Charlie's baby pictures! Spitting up about half of her meal every time. Her eye lashes are getting so long, her double neck is rapidly growing in size, and little rolls (somehow still petite) are appearing on her arms and legs :)

Loves: Cuddling with Mama (especially in bed in the mornings). Smiling open-mouthed. Staring at our wedding pictures on the wall. Sitting in her bouncer watching us cook in the kitchen, well, when she's not crying to be held. Music. When we make fish faces at her (gets her to smile every time). Sleeping. Baths in her Washpod (no crying!). Sucking on her fingers (though the paci helps her sleep better). Eating.

Hates: Not being held while she's awake. Car rides. Gas pains (who doesn't hate those?).

Significant Events: We dedicated Norah to the Lord on October 26 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, surrendering, hoping, and praying that she will know and treasure Him above all else one day. Pray for us to be faithful parents, obeying God's commands to teach Norah the Gospel, discipline her in the Lord, and love her unconditionally. We're so thankful for God's grace to us as parents, as we fail daily. He is faithful.
