Washpod

While we were pregnant with Charlie, we were introduced to the European-style baby bathtub...basically, a bucket (with a padded bottom). But it's supposed to be "womb-like" and comforting for babies. We first heard about the "Tummy Tub" and thought we'd try it out until we learned of its price (plus the fact you have to buy a stand for it that was half again the price of the tub). After searching online for anything similar, I found the Prince Lionheart "Washpod" which was about half the price of the other and had a built-in stand for stability. For the first few weeks we used the sink to bathe Charlie in, and he pretty much hated it. Every time since then we have used his Washpod, and he loves it! Here's a video of Charlie reviewing his Washpod...

  1. This is so cool Tara. I have never seen anything like this. Its looks really safe too, being that he can't tip over. Apphia is almost 1 and she is wanting to crawl in the bath now, makes me super nervous!

  2. Yeah, I guess the Tummy Tub is for up to age 3! This one says 6 months, but we'll see. :)

  3. This is great! I wonder if he will sit up sooner (not that that's a goal) because of all this practice? Core strengthening, you know?!
