Grilled Cheese, Please.
Tonight, like many nights, it was beginning to get late and having no energy or an existing meal plan for the week, I decided I had to get up, go into the kitchen, and try to make something to eat out of nothing. Well, not out of nothing. But with limited food resources, shall we say. It also had to be quick because it was already past 7pm. Woops. Here's what I came up with:
"Tara's Italian-style Grilled Cheese w/Turkey & Tomato"
(ok, so this probably isn't original, but a big step for me...no recipe!)
Heat olive oil and coarse sea salt in a frying pan on medium heat
Fry bread with:
Cheddar cheese
Thin slice of tomato
Dried basil
Dried "Rosa Maria" herbs (basically Rosemary, Garlic, & Oregano)
Turkey deli meat
Yep, that's it. You probably make this all the time. Just pretend you think I had a good and yummy sounding idea, okay?
(Oh, and I couldn't take a real picture of our food, because we ate it before I thought to.)
