In early February, Paul Tripp spoke at Bethlehem. The name of his session was, "If I Only Had..." It was such a good reminder to me that God should be the only one fulfilling my needs and desires and to trust Him with the story of my life. What is the one thing you consistently tell yourself you want or need out of life to make you happy? What do you often fill in that blank above? Often times, when we are disappointed with what God has appointed for us, we despair, not realizing that He is doing so for a greater purpose that we would agree with had we seen the whole picture. He is molding us to be more and more conformed to His Son. Praise Him for this glorious reality! "For those whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son..." Romans 8:29a.
