I am happy to report that I am finally out of bed and have gained back a couple of the pounds I had lost in the first trimester! Starting at 5 weeks, all day nausea took over until about 14 weeks. Even now I have to keep taking my nausea medication, but it actually seems to somewhat work now. I still have trouble thinking of any real meals I can eat, but at least I can stomach more than yogurt and grapes now! I can honestly say that these have been the hardest 3 months of my life. God is faithful, though, and has been with me each day of sickness, loneliness, and anxiety as my body and emotions have adjusted to this crazy thing called pregnancy. It's funny how I used to think pregnancy would just be so much fun and was so 'cute.' It hasn't been very fun so far, and I definitely don't feel cute, but I guess that's not really what it's about, is it? :)

Today baby is about 4-5 inches long (about the size of an avocado!), weighs 3-5 ounces, and may be able to hear my voice! The baby can also suck its thumb, make faces, and has toenails! It really is a miracle.
I haven't been too faithful with taking tummy pictures, but here are two at 12 weeks and two now at 16...
you are going to have the cutest bump , well you already do, but when you pop out...oh dear!
