Time for Transition!

So much has happened within about a week's time! Here are a couple of noteworthy transitions I am thankful for!

*Wednesday, September 15 was my last day working at Bethlehem Baptist Church!
I am still so thankful to the Lord for providing me with this job for the past 2 years. He gave me more than I could have asked for in a job, and it was such a blessing to work with such wonderful people on staff. I will so miss the daily fellowship, encouragement, and support!

*Thursday, September 16, I became a full-time stay-at-home mom-to-be!
What a gift not only to be able to stay home with my children, but also that I have 2 months before our first child is born to get settled and prepare for this life changing event! We are so blessed. Since we took a trip to Chicago last Thursday, today is actually my first official day at home and I'm realizing how much there is to do in two short months! (So I'm blogging instead...:) Here are some new baby bump pix at 30 and 31 weeks!

*Saturday, September 18, my little brother Tyler got married!
We drove to Chicago on Thursday and had a great time visiting with family and friends we haven't seen in a long time. I had the privilege of singing with my sister-in-law Ali in the wedding while Dan accompanied us on guitar. It was a beautiful ceremony and now I have a new sister-in-law! The happy newlyweds are celebrating in Jamaica...ok, a bit jealous.

*Monday, September 20, we started the long drive back to Minnesota with a new kitty!
We decided it was time to trade in Zelda because of her eccentric habits: chewing EVERYTHING, meowing constantly, needing attention every waking second, etc. With a new baby coming, we didn't really trust her but still wanted to have a cat. My sister Kirstin happily took Zelda and we happily took a cat from my parents otherwise known as "Black," "Bear," or now "Gus." He is incredibly sweet and reminds me of the fat mouse from Cinderella "Gus Gus" hence the new name :)
