Charlie: 15 Months

15 Months in Summary:

New words Charlie can say...
*Water
*Fan
*Banana ("nana")
*Hat
*Frog
*Bath
*Goggles (strangely enough)
*Nigh-night
*Fire (when pointing to the fireplace)

New words Charlie can sign...
*Thank you
*Book
*Eat
*Sleepy

New things Charlie can do...
*Run! (Ok, it's more of a slow jog...but you get the picture.)
*Pretend to fly by flapping his arms (Dan taught him this...still not sure why.)
*Fold his hands to pray
*Follow directions to some degree (i.e. He will pick up a toy and put it back where he found it, or he will close a drawer he opened, if we ask him to)
*Turn on, unlock, and type messages to unsuspecting contacts on my phone...uh-oh.
*Color!
*Play the maracas, tambourine, guitar, & piano   :)
*Squat. He is a surprisingly good squatter/balancer.
*Brush his hair (with any and every object)

Charlie's favorite pastimes...
*Screaming "CAAAR!" anytime he sees his toy cars, sees a real car, looks out any window, or thinks about cars.
*Finding clocks everywhere we go. I don't think there has been a single place we've gone where he hasn't managed to spot a clock. Of course, in his mind, clocks also include digital clocks, Exit signs (because they are lit up?), food scales at the grocery store, watches, and any circular gauges of any kind.
*Reading books!
*Eating. Seriously, he's huge. Well, he's short, but he's chunky! (Weighs 26-27 lbs)
*Smiling at waiters/waitresses at restaurants (but nobody else).
*Playing "I'm gonna get you..." (We say this, he tries to run away giggling so hard he usually falls down.)
*Dancing.
*Playing piano with Mama
*Playing guitar (actually holds a pick and strums) with Daddy
